Have a great day out and enjoy unlimited travel for a day along the railway tracks. Your journey will stretch out over several miles where there's lots of beautiful countryside scenery and unique station buildings along the line. With the Rover Train Ticket you're free to jump on and off the classic locomotives at train stations throughout the day so you can explore the local villages and countryside at your own pace. The stops include Wirksworth Station Idridgehay Station Ravenstor Station and Duffield Station and there will be a buffet car on some trains and at stations selling light refreshments. Enjoy a relaxing day out on this unique train journey. Please note: some trains are Heritage diesel not steam trains. A series of parades was held in which upwards of 70 locomotives and trains from all eras passed before huge crowds. On the lines which radiate from Nürnberg a flotilla of special trains undertook tours throughout the year. They were hauled by veteran steam diesel and electric locomotives which gave the modern generation a chance to see what their railway heritage was all about and the older generations a chance to indulge in a year of pure nostalgia.
