In short, the gyro is in full control of the RC helicopter tail rotor and interprets tail rotor commands from the receiver. So only when the pilot sends a tail rotor command to the remote control helicopter, the gyro will allow the RC helicopter to turn. Well all this remote control helicopter with gyro jargon is very tech and sophisticated, but that just makes it even easier, safer and more fun to fly this particular remote control heli.
