The tiny appellation of Crons borders the northern side of Sauternes and benefits from autumnal mists, which encourage the development of Botrytis. Made using the same labour-intensive methods as Sauternes, with individual grape selection from the bunches, followed by a partial vinification in French oak barrels. The result is a rich, luscious French dessert wine with a pronounced honeyed bouquet and fresh, citrus flavours.

This partially barrel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc is made using grapes sourced from the Stags Leap, Oakville and Rutherford areas. The warm yet still temperate growing conditions produce fully ripe grapes which result in a full-bodied almost creamy textured Californian white wine with pronounced aromas of jasmine and orange blossom, citrus and tropical fruit such as limes and lychees, honey with subtle oak nuances on the palate. Definitely not a typical Sauvignon Blanc!

Gavi is Piemontes most celebrated white wine and made from the Cortese grape grown in vineyards in the south-east of the Italian region. The Toledana estate has been growing Cortese grapes and making a dry white from them for over 150 years, longer than any other winery. Unoaked, fresh and minerally Gavi can be compared to Chablis with respect to its flavour profile, which makes it very good for partnering with fish and seafood.
