Good alternate for even DSLR photographers

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Semi-professional quality camera at lower ISO

Cons: too much noise at high ISO

Bottom Line:
Pricier than some compacts, you get some really good images at the lower ISOs. Invest in the additional lenses to increase capabilities. Read More

Solid mix of desired functions for the serious amateur!

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Manual & aperture priority, full manual and auto modes. Optical viewfinder, great handling.

Cons: Relatively short battery life, no glaring issues with the more highly desired and used features.

Bottom Line:
A modern day replacement for my favorite 35mm Olympus XA. Also my choice when I do not want to lug an SLR sized camera. Little compromise here, a solid performer. Read More
