Checknow is a very professional company but sadly they can no longer be found on the internet.

I was very impressed by the order entry system. I was disappointed that my order was delayed, apparently due to Microsoft shipping problems (despite the goods being 'in stock'). The www.checknowsoftware.com site has been 'down' for several days, with a technical error, so I couldn't track my order online. I received a very prompt, helpful reply when I asked when I could expect delivery, and the goods arrived as promised that day. Overall, the price was the best I could find, the process was very easy, but the availability of the website is a concern.

They have a good selection of software at excellent price levels. Their sales process is a good example of a web merchant. When it is necessary to speak to them direct, their sales team are polite and helpfull.

I would contact them again when I need to make another purchase.

Telephoned to check stock levels as I hear that website might not always be accurate. Ordered MS Visio Pro. When I quoted dealtime they gave me the discounted price. Delivered before 9am following day. Excellent all round for me.

Not a Checknow issue but I was surprised that Royal Mail did not obtain a signature from me at the time of delivery. Someone downstairs signed - surely it should have been my signature or an authority from me allowing another to sign

Web site said 29 in stock. When I phoned there were (you've guessed it) none !

Website claimed items were in stock, but nothing arrived with the 1st week. I called and was told the items were out of stock but would be delivered the following week. Still nothing arrived. Called again and was told that half my order would be despatched tomorrow while I would have to wait a further 2 weeks for the remainder.

Good site, easy to order, in stock, best UK price on the net, delivered on time. What more could a person want!

check now sent me message saying that they could no longer do quickbooks 2005 (altho it showed in stock on the site) and did I want to purchase 2006 version. It appeared on website that 2006 version not compatible with Win 98 which I use so which is why I was purchasing 2005 version. sent them note asking if it was. They said not so I cancelled order. In fact Quickbooks 2006 IS compatible with Win 98 as I found when I visited the Inuit website. I have given fair rating as they gave me speedy response but were they trying to make me buy a more expensive product?
