I used Ebuyer to purchase a laptop that was within my budget. Ebuyer offered the best price I could for the Lenovo N200 Intel Core 2 Duo Laptop. Browsing around and navigating the site was simple and the ordering process took approx 10 minutes. I ordered the laptop on Sunday night along with a printer and laptop case. All three items arrived using their free delivery option on Thursday afternoon. I have been pleased with the service and would highly recommend Ebuyer to everyone.

I've used Ebuyer a lot over the past few years. Their prices are hard to beat, and delivery, if a bit slow, is normally very dependable - they deliver when they say they will.
There's no customer support phone number, but once you get used to the website you realise that you can access all the functions and information you could ever want - so why wait in a queue for someone in a call centre to do it for you?
Ebuyer is a 'different' online shopping experience in that you have to learn to use the site, rather than being spoon-fed through it and given person-to-person customer support, but it's worth trying to learn for the site's huge range, great prices, dependable delivery and efficient returns.

Ordered a Sony Camcorder for delivery 31st december 2004. Did not arrive! checked my order status - the order had been converted to a quote. Checked my e-mail and I had an e-mail from them at 22.48 on 30th December saying my address did not match my credit card details - absolute rubbish. I checked which address they had and it was the correct one!!! Why was this check done so late when I'd ordered it 2 days before and paid extra for early delivery. Will never use this site again, and I have used many internet sites before without problems. This leaves me now with a timing issue for purchasing this item, which I will now have to do in a retail store and pay £60 more!!

Very good store. Have used for a while now, great prices and my delivery time is almost always upgraded. Easily allows you to alter you order if you want to add or remove an item before despatch. Their range of stock is the largest I've seen!

Order took hours (6 or 7) to place because the site kept freezing, cart emptied at the last minute. Delivary in all cases was late, *even* when I ordered their most expensive delivary solution. In fact, at time of writing an order due to be delivered today with their highest-price postage hadn't even had stock allocated. RMAs seem to take days and customer services are non-exist - as always with ebuyer. They don't let you email and you can have support tickets waiting for days will no response. In my experience they tend to close tickets without actually helping you in any way meaning you have to wait another week for an equally useless response. Avoid like the plague. After placing orders I've found better and cheaper service and prices elsewhere. Go the ebuyer route at your peril.

ebuyer took my order and money for a camera to be despatched in 2 days, then after 8 days declared they were out of stock and could not deliver for a further two weeks, despite 20 showing when ordered. The order was placed in 'pick in progress' which prevented me from cancelling and going elsewhwere. This was a major disappointment since I was unable to get a present for Christmas, despite allowing plenty of time. Surely taking money for an order which cannot be supplied is fraudulent!!

I ordered a Canon 20D camera from ebuyer, initially it was very easy, ordered the product and was delivered on time, there tracking system was excellent. Then I recieved my camera, oh dear! It was a US version (this hadnt been stated), and they didnt even bother to supply a UK plug adaptor for the charger, the warrenty was for US residents only. I tried to contact them, no phone number, it took them 8 days to reply to an enote, by which time I had already sent back the product, a full refund was offered, now, a week later, awaiting this refund.

I am just blaming myself for ordering through this site without reading the reviews. The customer care service doesnot seem to exist at all!! There is no contact number, the E-note system is just horrible, I never got any reply for the querries I asked. I ordered for a TV and DVD player package deal. I recieved TV at scheduled time, But we were never informed about the fate of the DVD player and other accessories. I would never buy again from this site or I would recommend.

I ordered a DVD Recorder on Saturday 18th December at a very reasonable price. I selected a delivery option for my order to arrive before 23rd December. An order confirmation arrived by e-mail and another e-mail arrived on 22nd December telling me that my order had been despatched. The goods arrived the following afternoon, in pristine condition, via an overnight courier. I was very pleased with my purchase and the speed and ease of the delivery.

I have a reasonable relationship with the the citylink driver in my area, because I order frequently with ebuyer. People who complain about not being in when delivery is attempted are just stupid. You ordered the stuff, you are told the day it will get to you, if you can't accept it then why is it anybody's fault other than your own. If ebuyer use another courier, it would still get to you on the same day. Their enote system does work, but not as quick as a phone call, but at least you do have it in writing so they cannot get out of it when things go wrong

I ordered an Acer notebook and chose eBuyer because they were the cheapest I could find. Despite being given a date for delivery it didn't arrive on time. There is no number to call and I was left emailing them, it took 2 emails before I finally got a response and it turned out that they had problems in their warehouse.

Ordered a PC case that did not turn up on the date paid for. Sent an enote which is the only way to contact Ebuyer. 2 days later I got a response apologising for the late delivery and as the case was required urgently and it was a Friday they would do a Saturday delivery for me. The case didn't turn up until Monday and to top it off it had a dent in it. Not worth the hassle to return it. Probably will not buy from these again.

I have used this company through the US site in the past and was most happy with their service. However, the UK based site leaves much to be desired. VERY VERY slow, though that may have been due to Christmas. Initial log-in attempt was not accepted. Once that was resolved I got as far as placing my order when my last name was not accepted. This may be a one-off problem, but the real frustration was that there was no way to contact the company to resolve the matter. No email address or telephone number was given. They only had their own

Generally I have had good service as far as Ebuyer deliveries go, however this is the first time I have had a problem with only the screen panel of a monitor being delivered without stand or cables etc. To try and contact them is a nightmare as they have now stopped ther customer support lines and only deal through enotes which so far have not been answered for two weeks

Ebuyer are my favourite e company as their prices are always very competetive. Delivery has always been on time but you need to know that you will be at home all day to receive your package on the delivery date. They are always first to introduce new items to the market. If you have researched a product you know you want, always check out ebuyer's price before going to the high street. Their own customers product reviews are a help when choosing items but don't be put off by glimpsing at some of the poor reviews without taking a balanced view of each product as some customers obviously are a technical disaster to deal with and would give any company a bad name usually through their own mishandling of products they don't fully understand.

Attention Christmas shoppers, these guys will not deliver on time so if it's critical you receive your gifts on a specific date, look elsewhere. I ordered a digi-cam, quoted delivery date 15/12/04. It's now the 16th, I have an (very standard looking) email stating it will arrive one day late yet my order is still sitting in the warehouse. It doesn't help that their customer support is based on some kind of forum model - the 'eNote' I left shows it has not even been read yet, hence my belief in the 'standard email' These guys are very good at taking your order, but truly shocking at bothering to get it to you.

I have been using this site for a very long time now, it is great delivery is always on time or sometimes sooner. Almost every time I search for a computer related produce eBuyer is at the top of the list.
The customer service is fine, I ordered 2 of the same produce, I will admit it was my fault I looked back at the invoice and it did indeed say two. I followed the instructions on the website, we exchanged a few emails, I sent the produce back and got a refund no problems at all.

Having been a regular user of Ebuyer for a while there's no doubt they do get good deals (although most are seasonal i.e. they have items in bulk and when they're gone they're gone).
They aren't the quickest to get items to you. Still not bad taking an average of 7 days whereas online stores like Komplett are within 2 days currently for PC items.
What has hacked me off about Ebuyer is their really slow Returns process. Its all online which is great, but can take 2 weeks or more to get an RMA number which you need to send back the goods.
Overall - nice site, some good deals but if you want things quickly or need to return an item distinctly average.

I've used Ebuyer for years now, and always been very happy with them.
That is until now, bought this drive from them and found it to be faulty. Their returns and customer service is appauling. No humans to speak to, they're removed their phone number from the website.
Their response time is 5 business days, just to respond to you. Pathetic.
You are lucky if all goes well, but if there is a fault you're better to return the item and buy it elsewhere.

Ordered an Archos v480 on the 1st December. The site looked professional, the product was the cheapest on the Net and ordering was easy. I chose the supersaver delivery of 8th December. Ebuyer informed me by email that they had upgraded my delivery to 7th December. The site says there is 20 in stock, they debited my credit card at time of order placement, but the goods still have not arrived (10th December). The only way you can communicate with this company is via enotes which they do not respond too. My order status still claims to be waiting to be picked and delivery of 7th December.
