I didn't need to contact the Climber's Shop for this item, but have telphoned them to enquire abotu availability of other goods and they have been very helpful. The most telling thing I can say about the shop is that I have been using it since 1971/2 and intend to continue doing so - even though a hole has now appeared in a pair of Dachstein mitts I purchased there in 1974 - do you think they are still under warranty and I could get my money back????

Didn't send the document that explained what was in the package, so the customs is taking a very long time. Please do this if you are sending a package out of the U.K.

As I said in the previous survey, I received a phone call saying that the item I had ordered was not avaialble as the web site had not been updated to say item was out of stock. This is very disappointing, as I have been unable the purchase the item from anywhere else.

Through no fault of the Climbers Shop the wrong size was sent. There was no hesitation in them returning my money and more importantly the postage. Excellent service.

I saw the shoes on the website, ordered straight away but after the noon deadline for following day delivery. The shoes were delivered the day after. My experience was very good and I am completely satisfied with the service and my purchase.

However I did have to call the merchant before completing the order on-line as it was not fully clear to me from their website whether they were offering only a fixed colour combination or not, as the manufacturer offers two more colour pairing options. In practice it turned out that the Climbers' Shop was offering only the one colour pairing and I went with that for my purchase. My only positive feedback to the merchant would be that this restriction could have been more clearly stated on their website, saving the inefficiency for both parties of the added phone call. Nevertheless the merchant was excellent and most helpful.
