Having ordered a large number of WebCams for my business, I was initially told that VAT could not be refunded which is contrary to Pixmania's FAQ. I was then told to contact a supervisor but not given any contact details. After four weeks I am still waiting for the VAT refund.

Ordered [and paid] for a Kodak CX7430 Digital Camera on 02/12/04. Camera was not in stock, but was available on 03/12/04 which was ok. Unfortunately, this date was pushed back (on four different occasions) until the available date was 23/12/04. I had rang the help line on the 10/12/04 to confirm that I would receive the camera before Christmas and was told no problem. Spoke to them on the 14/12/04 and was told no chance. Cancelled order and very annoyed. Extremely poor service. Beware.

TV purchase. Delivery given Friday the 12th which failed. The rang eventually at 8.30 at night with all sorts of poor excuses, no mobile phone, too many orders for one day etc. Promised Sunday morning delivery, did not arrive, no call at all. Called cus serv on Monday, they would contact me as to redlivery. No reply. Rang on Tuesday and they told me to contact delivery company. They in turn said the 1st Sat was 2 weeks out. Decided to cancel and now waiting for them to agree to this.

I was told that delivery of this item would take place before 25Th of December guaranteed it did not arrive at all! This item was to be a Christmas present. The website doesn't even have a link where I can contact them.

Not recommended! Pricing is misleading with items advertised as free shipping but charge added at checkout. Advertised same day despatch but took approx. 36hours. An account was created "on the fly" despite saying none was needed to checkout. No obvious way to cancel the account. They continue to send e-mails despite unsubscribing. Used them because I was desperate but will not again - they do not deserve a single tick, in my opinion.

The only thing that keeps this company afloat is it's prices. I've shopped from them before, and so have my friends, and not one person can give a good word about their service once the order has been ordered. Delays in shipment, hassles with proof of identity, part shipments, computer errors. There's always something going wrong.

1. The camera case supplied was not suitable. The camera didn't fit in it. I managed to work out the returns procedure (not easy) and returned the case by recorded 1st class mail on 5 July 06 (within 7 days) and have heard nothing. It's now 19 July. 2. I did not expect the camera to be one packaged for the French market. The instructions were in French only. I was directed to the Fuji website where it said I needed to register to download UK instructions. It then wouldn't let me register because it was not a UK market product. After several hours and attempts I found one but was rather bored by this time. 3. Eventually Pixmania provided some sort of registration for the camera. The price of the offer was good but I don't want to go through all this again.

I ordered an MP3 player specifically because it played Secure Digital Memory cards (I have a 1GB card). What arrived was a cheap 128Mb mp3 player (that does not take SD Memory). There was no invoice in the bag, and no explanation, and so far they have not responded to my emails. They have taken my money and left me with an item I did not order, and do not want.

My order has NOT been delivered. Noone has contacted me about this. I had to take the time to contact DHL and find that my parcel, 8 days after I was advised it had been sent out, was sitting at DHL in Vauxhall. I have now had to re-arrange delivery, giving them all the same details I submitted with my original order, to get it tomorrow. This is the first time a company has failed to deliver an item to my work address, which is open 7 days a week, 9am to 9pm. This is completely unacceptabl

I have ordered many goods from this company and had no problem with the ordering and delivery. Problems ocurred when I had to have something picked up. It has now been a month and they have still not picked it up and I am still waiting for a refund. After waiting in numerous times and emails going backwards and forwards and phoning them they still send the same email 'it will be picked up today or tomorrow' - It has not I am still waiting. I personally would never buy from them again

Purchase was fine. I ordered on line on Thursday. We had a phone call early Friday confirming our order would be delivered on the folowing Monday. When I checked the website on Monday the order status was pending. When I rang customer service I was told that I hadn't confirmed the order by e-mail - despite receiving confirmation, and not being asked for it so wouldn't receive it that day (despite having waited in). So went on holiday without one!

In stock when ordered, then out of stock, payment taken, cancelled order, then item dispatched. Had to return item as payment refunded!! A poor service they did not know what was happening, I would never use them again. Approach with caution!!

Absolutely appaling service, too k ages to arrive, I sent it back for a refund, it is now over a month after and despite numerous(5) calls have not received my money back. DO NOT USE THIS STORE!

A complete shambles I tried ordering a Sony camers on line and six times the site changed to French at the point of ordering. I then phoned them and on the second attempt, via a Polish guy ordered the camera. Sadly they put the wrong postal code on the parcel, which went to Glasgow instead of Guildford. And of course ParcelForce have now lost it. Despite sereral call to assorted call centres round Europe, they havent replaced the camera and have not called or emailed to date...a complete was of space...

Instructions for the camera were provided in french and there was no assistance provided by customer services. The small print hidden away in their T&Cs did state that the product purchased may not have instructions supplied in english, but it was not easy to find. I would certainly never buy from this company again and will endeavour to make sure that nobody that I know will not either.

I am disappointed with Pixmania on this occasion as their advert led me to believe they had the item in stock, then it was 8-10 days delay then another 8-10 during which time they have charged my visa card account which is wholly unnacceptable, no other merchant I have dealt with has treated me like this.

I ordered three items. One was a Casio digital camera. It arrived a week late with a two pin plug. I was told that since all items were European export then this was standard. I was told to buy an adapter which obviously means more expense and more kit. This consequently can make thier products seem that little bit cheaper which I felt was a con just to get the business in. If a company is selling electrical items to the UK it seems fairly obvious to me to be able to sell them with a three pin plug. Another item I bought was an Archos memory card reader advertised on the site as 'SD/MMC card reader' where in fact it doesn't read SD cards at all. I felt this was also a con to get people to buy when maybe they wouldn't if told of the correct description. Finally the itmes arrived in three different shipments which meant three different arrangements for collection. This company seems to have little committment to satisfying the customer.

The fact that I bought a French product should be made more obvious, probably something at the top of the page rather than hidden on the tech info page. When I received my printer the box was already open but everything appeared to be there. Your website said that the product was in stock so I placed an order on Monday. On Friday when my order hadn't turned up I contacted Pixmania to be told that they were out of stock and that my order was being shipped soon. If you were out of stock then the website should tell you.

See earlier posting 19 DEC re PIXMANIA...I got so frustrated with this outfit that I contacted FUJI UK....who after two courtesy emails ( which were answered the same day) they agreed to repair the camera under the International Warranty...posted the camera to them on 04/01/06 recieved it back 07/01/06 with covering letter AND IN FULL WORKING ORDER ...now that's what I call SERVICE

When ordering my camera I had to join Royal Bank of Scotland secure online ordering service which I thought was a good idea. So I was a bit surprised to find myself being asked for additional proof of identity to help prevent fraud. It was a day after I sent for my camera that this was asked for, since I don't have a scanner I was unable to provide the evidence asked for. However my feelings are that if the RBS was happy with my identity. then Pixmania should have been as well. It would be nice to say something on their website to the effect, If you do not own a Scanner then by your goods elsewhere, and then it would let people know where they stand and save wasting peoples time as it did mine. Also my experience has been passed on to another couple of people at my work and they have bought elsewhere.

All items come from France, so if it is wrong you will have to pay P&P. A very bad experience. I found the camera I liked and ordered it; it took 10 days to arrive. The charger and battery where missing. I sent it back at my own expense and have not received any compo for my expenses; it took another 2 weeks to receive credit.

Constantly changed the availability date of the product, though debited my credit card immediatly. Did not respond to e mails. Customer help line rang for over 20 mins before being answered. Member of staff i spoke to said "Oh` well hang on for a few more days" even though I had explained to her I needed the camera for osmethign I was working on.

Web site said next day delivery as I paid by credit card. Eight days later no goods received. Phone line always busy. After I enquired by email they said additional information was needed. Why didn't they say this when I placed the order? Why wait until I contacted them? This is the second time I have tried to order from Pixmania. The first time the goods were "in stock" during ordering, but when I placed the order, the confirmation said delivery in 10 days. I cancelled then and I am cancelling this time. No more Pixmania for me.

I ordered camera on 19 May, for delivery around 25 May. Tracking system said "being prepared". Not received by 27th I called, told error in processing, would be shipped on 31 May (delayed by bank holiday). June 2, still not shipped, called again, helpline cannot explain delay or advise when will be received despite standard shipment being overnight ! Seriously unhappy & unimpressed customer.

I ordered the item 5th december. My credit card was billed the next day. It's now mid January - well over a month later, and still no sign of the item shipping. the price looked great, but for a few pounds more I could have actually GOT SOMETHING for my money.

It was not made clear on the web site that the company were French - the user manual was in French and the power lead had a 2 pin plug. I have e-mailed the customer care department, and they will not rectify these problems. I received the printer 10 days ago, but am still awaiting the USB cable to connect it to my computer. The web site should make these points clear. I will never do this again! It's alot less hassel to buy it in the shop.

I initially was a big fan, but after they couldnt ship a order on time (which they stated) I cancelled it. 1 1/2 month later still waiting for an re-embursment. Really dissapionted.

Ordered a Canon EOS350D and a case. After some delay with proofs of ID, the camera arrived and did not work. The case was out of stock and I was advised of 2 week delay. Tried unsuccessfully several times to contact customer services before returning via Putney drop centre and being advised of a 2-3 week wait to inspect the product before they would send out a working replacement. I returned camera and cancelled the entire order but they still delivered the case. I got a refund for the goods, but postage and returns costs were not paid as they deemed the camera in

Pixmanias website said the printer I ordered would be available in 8 to 10 days. After debiting my bank accountfor the price of the printer they sent me an email saying that the printer was not in stock and they gave various reasons why it was not in stock, but none of them were acceptable to me They told me it would take a further 10 days to deliver the item they had received payment for making a total of 20 days to delivery. this is unacceptable to me an even if I get the printer in good condition 20 days to delvery on the internet is very poor and I would never purchase from this company again!
