HI just bought a Toshiba 37inch 3030 from Amazon got the order in about 10pm on the Thursday it came on the Saturday morning paid for the express post so I thought that was real good. also plenty of emails keeping me up to date and the tracking number worked well. TV is great save about 150 quid if I would have bought it in the high street so I am a very happy bunny Read the reviews so fingers cross they have there act together now I myself cannot fault them so a pat on the back <(ô¿ô)>

Ordered 3 items on a Thursday 20th Dec. a book+2 trainsets,only thing that got here on time was the book. I was lied to by customer services who told me the courier delivers up to 6pm yet on couriers website it says 5.30pm,the courier didnt get the parcels till late on the day of delivery!!! It felt to me like they promised next day to get business,they refunded the charge but theyd still got the order, I had to wait until the Monday before the train sets finally turned up,Amazon didnt care.

Gave a delivery date which was quite a long time for royal mail, 10 Days and still did not deliver on time. No replys to emails and Phone calls diverted to Delli with some silly woman expecting you to go to your local post office to see if they can find a parcel that has now way of being tracked because there is no tracking number. Won't be using Amazon again, wish I had read the recent reviews, they used to be good. Too big now, dont care.

Amazon have cut their contract with Royal Mail and it shows. They haven't delivered my £400 order for a camera on time and now I'm anxious as to when or if it's going to arrive at all. Awful when they used to be so good.

have order books, cds, toys and have had a very good out come. have order from amazon for about 3 to 4 years and had one problem, a book did not arrive. send a mail and got my refund straight away. overall I am very happy with them. and we can get nectar points too!! get a catologe and put in the name of the item click, and most of the times it comes out cheaper.the items, small or large have also come in in very good condition.5 *****

iv ordered a playstation on febuary the 5th and it came on june the 24th i kept calling and calling but no answer i recived an email in late march sayin it's on it6's way i recived it in late june ...not good enough!!!

i ordered my camera and it arrived within 2 days. On opening i found a fault with the goods. I contacted amazon though its returns policy and a new camera was dispatched that day!. The faulty phone was collected from my house the next day as well as my new camera arriving as well. the best service i have had from the internet and the camera was at the best price anywhere. 100% 5 star service

I've been shopping with amazon for years and though the service is not as good as it used to be, it beats most online retailers in service and value. I only buy items that are sold directly by Amazon and the free delivery option works well for me only when the items are very small eg books and games. I recently bought a TV with the express delivery option and my TV was delivered intact, on time and it all cost me £200 less than I would have paid in any high street shop.

I ordered a krups coffee mill at the end of June 2007 and given the latest delivery date of 1st August. On 25th July I received an email saying my order had been dispatched but it did not arrive. After chasing my order several times I was informed on Fri 10th Aug it had been lost and a replacement could not be guaranteed. I took their offer of a refund. To day Sat 11th Aug I see they are still selling the same item which could be sent in 4 days but at a higher price!!!

The 'free' delivery is a con. You get the poorest, cheapest logistics and mine has taken over a week. For a £200 item the free delivery should be the same as normal delivery, but it isn't. Waste of time.

I have been shopping with Amazon for a few years now and so far have not had any problems. Ordered CD's Books, DVD's and electronic goods. Ordering items is easy and I find the customer reviews very useful. Items have always arrived on time and packaged very well.

Ordered Sennheiser PXC300, they delivered cheaper PXC250s. When I contacted them by e-mail they answer without answering the questions asked. I spoke to customer support who promised a refund, then I received an e-mail contradicting this and telling me a decision about a refund would be made in 2 - 3 weeks. The standard of customer support when dealing with a problem is abysmal. BE WARNED

I've waited a month for a set of Salter scales and still no sign of them.Amazon are still listing these scales as being in stock. Service is very poor. Maybe they should stick to books & CDs.

I ordered 2 snuggledown pillows on Tuesday 20/02/07 and they was delivered Friday 23/02/07 i would definately order from Amazon again.

Ordered Sharp microwave oven on November 1st, estimated delivery time was Novermber 10th. Two weeks later delivery time was moved to Novermber 18th, then again December 4th. I gave up and cancelled the order.

Purchased an Xbox 360 console and 2 games. Both arrived at the same time, but one day late because of "Unforseen circumstances". Customer support was hard to get to, and they weren't that helpful. Might buy again.

Usually Amazon are very good with delivery but we ordered 2 x SLR140 storage media tapes which show to be in stock on their website (DON'T BE FOOLED) only to cancel the order two months later as still not received product and delivery dates constantly being pushed out. Obviously they do not have stock but are stating they do in order to get you to purchase BEWARE

My Sony NW-E507 MP3 player arrived just days after ordering it online from Amazon. It developed a problem (nothing to do with Amazon) 2 weeks later so I reported fault (online) to Amazon who provided a FREE-POST DHL return sticker and return-instructions. Reported fault on Saturday; got e-amil from Amazon on Sunday saying replacement on the way; DHL collected faulty unit from home on Monday and replacement arrived Tuesday. That's what I call service.

I found amazon to be very good and I have bought a freeview box, 3 ps2 games and a book. i found the delivery to be well packed and quick.

I generally buy books and CDs from Amazon and usually (not always) find their prices competitive and delivery times to be good & reliable. Customer service is zilch though if you don't fit the box: the company seems to be run by robots. I find them competitive also for the computer software I have bought in the past, but for hardware they can be expensive & I went elsewhere recently for a new monitor.

I use Amazon quite frequently and the most recent purchase was made at 11pm on a Tuesday night. It consisted of a dvd box set and an Xbox 360 game. Both arrived on Thursday morning! Also the marketplace is fantastic for buying cds at avery low price and usually speedy delivery depending on the seller. Overall I really recomend it.

What on earth is Amazon playing at? They seem fine for books and OK for most CDs and DVDs but beware of buying electrical goods. Competitive prices suck you in but then when the expected delivery date comes you get an email telling you there'll be a delay (another 4-6 weeks in my case). This after already waiting a month. I shop online all the time and have used Amazon many times for books and music CDs but this is the second bad experience with delays and thus my last order with them.

Ordered numerous things from Amazon in the past & always been happy with delivery & product BUT NEVER AGAIN! Be warned, from my experience when something goes wrong the customer service can be appalling. I've spent the last 3 months trying to sort a problem with gift certificates bought for relatives at Christmas. Numerous emails, telephone calls & letters & only received contradictory explanations, no apology, no replacement or refund. Will never use them again.
