Ordered over £800 worth of tools on Friday, delivery due on Monday, still not delivered 1 week later, although delivery promised every day during the week. Customer service is appalling

I've only ever bought two items from Screwfix, but they are great with their prices and their delivery is usually within 24 hours. Great store to do business with.

Amazed at how quick they were.Ordered Sunday,arrived Monday morning. Unfortunately they were too quick - they forgot to include the free set of bits with my drill! Asked them to send the bits but they insisted they could only send drill+bits and that I would have to return the second drill!!!!Rather inconvenient to say the least!

Ordering from their website very easy and convenient, their delivery is fast, and if there is the occasional error with an order, customer support resolve it out without a quibble very quickly. For their service and prices I will continue to use them as I have for many years!

I have had no problems at all with Screwfix, recently or many years ago when I ran a small hardware shop, more recently I have been surprised at the size of the parcels for much smaller items. Although they were well packed. Everything has always arrived the next day, correct and as promised. Last item ordered was a 12 way consumer unit with MCB,s.

Ordered tools for project, used them as had been recommended, items never turned up, customer care was very slow, when order eventually arrived one item was missing!

My last order received from Screwfix 09/09/05 came on time but what dreadful packing, the box 24x18x10 inches was far to big for a 5ltr container, 6 replacement window handles, 500ml container & a 10inch spirit level, no internal packing at all, everything just slid about, no damage! & as ordered. This is not the first time I have received an order that has been badly packed. Screwfix with better packaging would receive an excellent overall rating from me.

I have made several orders from Screwfix over a number of years with prices normally a lot lower than the diy sheds. Delivery is normally on time, only had one late delivery out of 5 or 6 so far. Orders have been accurate and all items in stock and delivery is free on orders over £45 and they can deliver on Saturdays which is a bonus for me. Packaging is excellent too - very professional, not like one other company that I ordered from recently that had unsuitable boxes for the weight of items

I have used Screwfix for years, only recently on line, and have found their products, price, delivery and customer service to be excellent at all times. Now I have access to their website I find shopping with them even easier and would gladly recomend them to anyone.
