The DSC-V1 Cyber-shot Digital Camera from Sony packs an array of impressive features and definitive control in a compact design. Its Super HAD CCD image sensor (5.0 effective MP) provides excellent image quality by allowing more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing noise. The 4X Smart Zoom (at VGA size) intelligently uses the full CCD to let you zoom into the portion of interest by cropping the image size thus avoiding image degradation. The featured Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar Lens incorporates 8 elements in 7 groups with aspheric elements for sharpness and color accuracy. You can experience excellent viewing and image playback clarity with the 123K 1.5 LCD monitor. Projecting a Class 1 laser pattern, the cameras Hologram AF Illuminator reads the contrast between the patterns edge and the subject for precise focus, even in low or no light. With Continuous Auto Focus, the DSC-V1 maintains accurate focus lock with fast moving subjects until the moment of exposure. Minimize
