The card resides into the PCI slot of the server with the series of cards connected via slim CAT5 cable. This allows for a KVM solution that does not take up any room within the rack.??One manager card is required per series and can control up to 63 remote cards. Distances between the management card and last remote can span up to 360 feet allowing for great flexibility within the data center. The PCI KVM switch is an ideal solution for those customers with cable management issues within the rack or for configurations with eight or more servers per rack.
