A 3.2X Zoom at VGA resolution is possible with Smart Zoom. This Smart Zoom option intelligently uses the full resolution of the camera's imager at lower resolution settings to zoom into the portion of interest by cropping the image size. With a momentary pre-flash, the camera illuminates the subject and sets exposure through the lens for accurate flash metering. Adjustable flash level and redeye reduction insure great flash shots. MPEG VX movie mode lets you capture VGA resolution video with audio at 16 frames per second up to the capacity of the Memory Stick media that is used.
