The word "sugoroku" refers to any type of board game where dice is thrown to determine movement. Sugoroku games have been played in Japan for centuries and new types are created on a consistent basis. The latest Yugioh game falls under the category of Traveling Sugoroku (read: steeplechase game) where players travel around a wide area on connected spaces.
