Product Description

J.K. Rowling's offbeat stories about a young wizard seem to be tailor-made for video games, and sure enough this is one GBA title that's not to be missed. Playing as the title character, you'll start off as a new recruit at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (joined by classmates like Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Draco Malfoy), and there'll be plenty of opportunities to explore the school's grounds in search of goodies. Hop on a broomstick and play the role of "seeker" on the Quidditch team, and enjoy all sorts of other challenges and mini-games throughout the adventure. Of course (as fans of the book and film will recall), your teachers aren't the only ones who are impressed by your extraordinary abilities; some of the darkest forces in the universe will try to recruit you to fight for them. Will you fall prey to temptation? Will you muster your courage and defeat the evil Voldemort? The world is counting on you!

Pros: Rpg-ish. Like Zelda. Fun storyline smooth gameplay.
Cons: Game looks dismal in many places. I needed serious light in some spots. Quiddich difficult.
Bottom Line: Kids will love it. Adults and gamers might like it. Fun, Zelda like action, but hard to see sometimes.

Pros: Eye candy, ear candy, brain candy
Cons: Some puzzles near impossible
Bottom Line: Avoid unless you want a challenge. To your sanity.
