The KSC-WA62RC powered enclosed subwoofer is ultra-small, but pound for pound, its a killer. It takes up only 0.34 cubic feet of space but offers a maximum output power of 100 watts (50 watts + 50 watts) and bass reproduction down to 35Hz, giving you a lot of muscle in a tiny container. How? It uses our WOOX Passive Radiator- with a 6 ½" gold-coated concave cone - that acts like a long port without requiring the space, and it provides a much longer excursion than normal passive radiators. The woofer is a 5 ¼" gold-coated concave cone with dual 2-ohm voice coils. The KSC-WA62RC comes with a convenient wired remote which allows you to adjust the subs volume, crossover frequency, and phase (0° & 180°). And, it can take both line level inputs and speaker inputs, so it can easily integrate into virtually any existing system. Minimize

Kenwood's Little "wOOx" -- Subwoofer for the (Somewhat ) Sane

Author's Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Compact, self-amped, surprisingly powerful sound for its size

Cons: Can't compete with the 'cars that go boom.'

Bottom Line:
A tiny, fits-anywhere sub with guts. Capable of adding clean, musical bass to smaller cars without filling up the trunk, but pointless for bass nuts or megawatt stereo systems. Read More
