If you want to travel light, the VN-120 digital notetaker is the right choice for you. Weighing about 65g and very compact, this is the ideal way to capture your thoughts when on the move. For example, while sitting in the taxi you can record your first impressions of a new city, list your sightseeing plans or keep track of your expenses. Three folders are on hand too so you are able to store similar notes together. The alarm function is also very helpful. So you don't forget any appointments or arrangements, just dictate the details and then set a time for the notetaker to remind you.

Review On Olympus Vn-120
Pros: Adjustable recording quality, built in microphone, works good for the beginning accordionist. Cons: You have to erase things you don't want manually. OUTSTANDING Voice Recorder
Pros: Light, easy to use, large storage time. Cons: Doesn't stamp the time on recorded notes. Unsurpassed ruggedness and battery life.
Pros: Well-balanced features and an excellent early market entry by Olympus. Cons: Not suitable for music at all, some poor features, annoyingly turns on by itself. Bottom Line: "That's how my voice really sounds?" *UPDATE #2*
Pros: Easy to use, functional, portable, durable, good battery life Cons: Limited Memory, external mic & earphone sold separately, Bottom Line: Fine, but what about the Mac?
Pros: Small, works well. Cons: PC version doesn't work with Mac |
