Son excellente optique Schneider-Kreuznach est maintenue par un double stabilisateur optique-numérique, pour parer aux tremblements ou au manque de lumière. Vous pouvez ainsi tirer pleinement profit du capteur de 10,2 méga pixels pour saisir chaque détail des sujets distants, des paysages monumentaux, ou des photos de groupe. Polyvalent, le WB500 offre également une grande qualité d’image en vidéo, où il peut filmer en haute définition (720p), pour un rendu optimal sur votre écran HD. De plus, l’utilisation du codec de compression H.264 vous permet de ne pas encombrer votre carte mémoire, malgré la richesse des fichiers. Enfin, le WB500 permet de nombreux effets visuels (N&B, Sépia, etc.) aussi bien en photo qu’en vidéo, ainsi qu’une édition des séquences et un commentaire audio des clichés.
