Sony's A700 is the best semi-pro / pro SLR for the price.

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Superb ergonomics, image quality, autofocus speed, and build quality. Compatible with Minolta lenses.

Cons: AF points slightly dim in viewfinder, exposure automatically locks in multi-segment metering, fixed file names.

Bottom Line:
Highly recommend for its superb image quality, build quality, speed, feature set, and ease of use. The most "bang for the buck" of any semi-professional or professional camera currently available. Read More
