We ordered this from crutchfeld a couple of weeks ago to interface with a built in 1996 Honda Accord radio/tape player.
There were no instructions provided with the cd changer in how to install it in specific vehicles, which makes sense since there are so many types! Unfortunately, installing it in an Accord was no easy task. Initially, we wanted to put it in the trunk, but there were no flat enough surfaces on the floor. We then decided to put it under the passenger seat in the cabin, but after two hours of unscrewing the whole thing, we saw that the floor of the cabin was too uneven to screw down the plates with the given materials. Luckily I had some longer screws that we put into (predrilled) the floor and then we put the carpet back down. After that, installation was a breeze.
There's only one cable, and it has power and controls all built in, which is nice! I don't like splicing cables on things that cost this much! The changer is very quiet when playing, and you cannot hear it changing cds when driving.
