I bought the iphone because it is "idiot proof". Being of an older generation and not too tech savvy this phone was a breeze. I could operate it right out of the box and even though I had to do the initial activation from home it was easy. Just follow the screen directions.
I love the touch screen! It really works well! Surprise!!!!
The screen buttons are set up nicely and can be moved from the initial screen to 8 others. I arranged my main apps on screen one, secondary on 2 and games on 3. I still have 6 more screens for future buttons.
I had heard that the edge network was slow, well maybe for the tech savvy but not for this old lady who just recently upgraded from dial-up to Hughsnet satellite. At home I hook to my wi-fi and fly...did I mention the iphone gets free wi-fi at McDonalds and Barnes & Nobles.
I love the browser, it looks just like my computer browser. Not like those "fake" browsers on other phones that imitate the browser we are all so use to viewing everyday on our computers. The links work and you can click on pictures and other apps to bring them up.
The screen is 3.5 inches, more than enough to see with and can be enlarged with just a flick of the finger, so old eyes like mine can read that fine print.
