Full Review
I received this camera as a gift last month and since I've learned to use it, I have been quite pleased. I'm a camera novice, so I wasn't looking for anything fancy, and this camera is very user friendly. So far, we've only taken family pictures, but I expect it will perform equally as well for wildlife and wedding/special occasion photos. My only issue is that I find the LCD screen can be hard to see in some outdoor lighting conditions, however, I think this is just my adjustment from a traditional camera to a digital and not a flaw of this camera. The small size and minimum weight is definitely a plus for me since my old camera was 5 times the size of this one. Though I didn't purchase it myself, the prices listed here sound very reasonable considering my experiences with this camera and I would recommend it as a basic camera for someone looking for something more affordable. I saw one review mentions small memory, but I think that may be the case with most digital cameras before you purchase your memory card(s). I've found the battery life to be quite impressive compared to my old nikon (non digital). I haven't seen the need to alter the settings much to achieve good photo quality and I haven't yet tried the video capabilities so I cannot vouch for those.
