Casio makes an excellent product which is fairly easy for anyone to use. Just point and shoot for most pictures and you get good clear results. A little practice with this camera and you'll be taking pictures which beat most throw away cameras and some more expensive 35 mm types.
As a computer consultant I get the opportunity to test many different types of equipment, software, and peripherals for computers. This is one of those items. One of my customers purchased this camera and I got the chance to "check it out" and see just how good it could do. I was surprised at the ease with which she used the camera right out of the box and how well the pictures turned out on her first try.
Personally, I own a few digital cameras of other manufacturers which I have been testing. Other customers and friends have purchased brands other than those I own, so you can look for my reviews of each of them to help you make your decision.
This camera works well, and price wise is among the best values out there. The biggest drawback is that you use the LCD screen to line up your shots and this tends to run battery life down. A viewfinder would be an improvement such as that on the Olympus cameras. The turnable lens is a neat feature, letting you take pictures from almost any angle and even take a good picture of yourself with your sweetie on your arm.
