Pros: Very noticeable improvements over the G1.
Zeiss optics now includes the zoom.
Beautiful images.
Cons: Manual focusing.
Inherent rangefinder limitations.
Eats batteries.
Easily scratched.
Bottom Line: If it had true manual rangefinder focusing it would be perfect.

Pros: All the modern technology that I wished for my Leica M6
Cons: AF with not as obvious as expected. No manual focus feedback in the viewfinder.
Bottom Line: If you like Rangefinders and you do not need the "sharpening" of the viewfinder while focussing, then it is a "no-brainer" - buy it.

Pros: small,lightweight,easy to use
Cons: none really worth listing
Bottom Line: All cameras have their limitations.....for what the G2 can do, it does it with STYLE,SPEED, ACCURACY, and CLASS.
