Pros: Handy size, quality pictures.
Cons: Must use brand new batteries almost each time for it to work properly.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this as a great first time camera, due to it's ease of use and operation.

This camera is simple to use and would be great for a first digital camera. My son is only 10 and can easily operate this camera on his own.
The size is great. Nice compact little camera.
Pictures are good quality and come out great on our Kodak picture printer. The software that comes with the camera is great too. It allows you to edit the pictures on your computer, such as taking out red-eye, etc.
Image screen is great and is easy to use when focusing. Also easy to review and delete pictures taken with just a few pushes of a button.
A fun little feature is the black and white capability. This allows you to take great black and white pics that make for unique photos. There is also the option that creates the brown effect you see with old-time style, professional photos.
The color display screen is a nice size. It allows you to take a higher quality pic than the standard look-through window of old cameras. Also, the zoom feature is great and focuses very quickly.
This product was also an affordable option, however, this could be a possible downfall in the future if the quality starts to reflect the low price.
The only complaint I have about this product is it seems I have to replace the batteries almost every time I use it to function properly.
Overall, this has been a great camera and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable option.
