I desperately needed an alarm clock that I wouldn't have to fiddle with every day plus I hated setting the time & date as it always seems to go out on most alarm clocks. Also the batteries on most alarm clocks die and back to the flashing 12:00 again and setting it all up again on the next blackout or lightning storm. Well, NO MORE! I was amazed for about $26 at a local retailer this watch was way more than I bargained for. The first GEE WHIZ effect was when I plugged it in. The numbers started scrolling madly as did the month, day and year. To my surprise it actually set itself to the correct date and time in mere seconds. This thing actually uses your electrical wiring as a HUGE antenna that connects to an atomic clock signal. This part of it was incredible. No more having to set the time. On the off chance the power goes out this thing has a lithium watch type battery that lasts 5-8 years. So forget blackouts. Also if the battery fails and the power goes out when the power comes back you will loose your alarm settings but the watch sets the time back itself again. If you want a good and dependable alarm clock with a radio and hate setting the time on it, this is the alarm clock to buy.
