Poorly written manual, not written as everyday understandable English. Something is lost in translation from Japanese to English,needs to be rewritten, more clarification in all the menus, and how to find things. This appears to be written by someone who does not believe in detailed explanations. Whoever writes a clearly explained manual will make a fortune if it is clearly explained. I spent about six hours with another professional photographer trying to understand the manual, he also said you have to spend hours going over every single menu to find what your looking for. When found there is no immediate way to return to what you found. We have set up another day to try and get just some basics accomplished.
In trying to find out how to format compact flash cards, it was difficult to find Formatting to begin with. When we found it we couldn't get back to it again, thus causing another timely search as how we got to it. In some reviews this is mentioned, so I know I'm not the only one who is having difficulty following these poorly expressed directions.
