Pros: Picture quality, size and weight (light), battery life, macro feature.
Cons: Wide-angle lens distorting edges of pics, menu difficult to manipulate.
The Bottom Line: For general purposes and even certain professional uses it is an excellent camera.

Full Review
I was looking for a digital, having two film cameras (Canon and Nikon, both very good), but starting to feel like a dinosaur.
Walking into a Fuji film developing shop some 6 months ago, this camera was there and only 1 was left, others sold out. I was taken by the 9 megapixels and the macro function.
I'm not a professional, but I want good pictures, and this camera has not disappointed.
Some mentioned over-exposed photo's. The answer is: don't use flash unless strictly necessary. I find the camera adjusts quite well to bad lighting, e.g. yellow electric lights.
I haven't studied the manual very well and there are functions I have not used, purely because of lack of time. But recently I was overseas and my shots came out -- as far as I'm concerned -- like any professional photograph. The colours are beautifully true, and even when shooting quickly only 1 out of 70 was out of focus (my fault).
The camera is small and light enough to carry in my handbag, and I find the battery life is longer than expected.
I'm not very clued up when it comes to technical details, being an older woman and all that, but I have worked as a journalist and I know good photography!
