Love my xe2. I can't seem to find anything on my model though. Mine cost more than $2K and is a Omnibook xe2 P3 500MHz, 64MB, 6GB HD, 14"active matrix, and 8x DVD. I own a P3 550 desktop and this thing pretty much out performs it. I have maxed the mem. to 256MB[same as the PC]. When it comes time to replace the PC it will be HP also. The only two things I can think to change are; 1)upgrade to max of 14GB HD, and 2)My prior P2 notebook had interchangeable floppy to 100MB ZIP, which I sorely miss. But, I still use a USB ZIP which is second best.
Can anyone tell me why my P3 version of xe2 can't be found on the internet? Is it that new? Did I pay too much?
