Pros: The video function is one of the best I've seen in a point and shoot.
Cons: Night shooting is nearly impossible without some kind of natural lighting. Shutter speed is atrocious.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this camera to people who want something light and easy to use to capture their friends, family and whoever else might make their way into the viewfinder.

Full Review
I purchased this camera to replace a Fuji A330 point and shoot. I've been generally happy with it, save for a couple of qualms.
The camera feels good in your hand, is lightweight and quite durable. It is a great choice for taking pictures of family and friends in most environments. One of the major problems I've had is night photography. If your subject is close enough, it should come out fine, but it will be framed by nothing but blackness. If your subject is too far away, good luck. The M425 has trouble in certain lighting conditions, but performs admirably in most.
The video function is also great, and provides quite good quality video and audio. In stock format, with no memory card and no other pictures in the memory, you can record a 30 second full sound video, which is great for quick little videos you want to put on a video sharing website.
One of the biggest issues I've had with this camera, aside from night shooting, was how long it took between snapping a picture to being ready to snap another. It is also a little slow to turn on.
There are a lot of settings to play around with for a point and shoot in this price range, as well as a lot of different shooting modes.
I would definitely recommend this camera.
