Pros: Picture is great, Sound is perfect, Lots of A/V inputs, and it looks nice.
Cons: Remote has small buttons -just buy a universal one and your good!
The Bottom Line: Best TV for the Money, same guts as a Panasonic just without the price tag! I have had mine for 5 years and not a flaw yet

Full Review
This was the first TV i bought for my Apartment 5 years ago. The price was right and it had alot of features i wanted. The sound and picture are amazing, better than the Sony Trinitron at my parents house. It has a good amount of inputs so you can plug in VCR, DVD, PS2, etc. The front A/V jacks are handy if you need to plug in a camera for quick use. The hyper surround sound works very well, a good substitute until you can get a real system. The remote is quite annoying but that is the only flaw i can come up with after 5 years. The problems i have with the remote are the small buttons for the VCR are right at the bottom so if your not careful when you pic it up to adjust the volume you can easily stop rew, ffd etc. This was solved with a Universal remote and with the amount of pieces of technology i had around this TV it was a necessity anyhow. Other than that well worth the money and i will definately buy another JVC. Can't Beat the quality, considering the CRT Tube is made by the same company that makes the Panasonic, so you get the same quality for about 50 bucks less!
