I bought this changer and it worked great for about 4 months and then it just died. I then returned it and was givin a new one. The next one worked great for about 3 months but then the cable from the changer to the back of the deck was shorting open at the rear of the deck...mostly because of the odd connection. I then got a new one and it lasted about another 3 months. It stopped working and then my deck shorted out also...luckily i had extended warranty on both so they where easily replaced. I had to get the new updated jvc changer and new kameleon with the rotary knob... i had the old model kameleon. I have had both of them now for over six months and havent had any problems. They sold me another 2 year warranty on my returned items which hopefully i wont have too use but its good insurance with my bad luck.
