Easy output

Cons: 800x Digital Zoom
Still Shots at .3 MP

LOTS OF BELLS AND WHISTLES. BATTERY OPTIONS DISAPPOINTING

Author's Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Data storage capability. 30Gb Hard Disc. No need for additional recording media. Large LCD. Software.

Cons: Easy to learn, but takes time. Included Battery insufficient. Car charger unavailable. Batteries costly.

Bottom Line:
Buy if you plan on making good, long movies and will use often. For occasional use, more basic camcorders can be found for less. Read More

The good, the bad, and the ugly - the MG130 has them all.

Author's Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Compact size, massive hard drive storage, direct and fast access to true digital recordings.

Cons: Poor battery life, problematic ".mod" file format, non tech savvy need not apply.

Bottom Line:
Cutting edge, HDD offers many advantages, but is crippled by JVC's use of USB vs. firewire, and the foolish non standard video format. Tech-savvy operator required for advanced features. Read More
