Pros: Large screen, sleek body, easy to read start-up booklet. Video option with sound.
Cons: Shutter speed is unacceptable, delay on flash, missing options of the C360.
The Bottom Line: Do not purchase this camera. The shutter lag is unacceptable under any circumstances.

Full Review
So, I read the two reviews and figured it's possible they got the lemons. How wrong I was.
I have the C360 that was a wonderful camera until it was dropped.
I purchased the V1003 at Costco for $179 today. The camera boasts a 10MP and has a 3X zoom. It comes with a rechargeable battery which was a plus for me. This camera comes in several different colours. I opted for the silver.
I was excited to take some pictures. I charged it up for the 2 hours required. My first pictures were attempts at capturing my 2 year old toddler. No such luck. Maybe I needed an older, slower child. I was in luck! I tried taking pictures of my 10 year old son, sitting on the bed. I snapped a picture and captured him getting off the bed. One more time..sitting up..snapped the picture..his leg was all that was in the frame because he got up.
The shutter speed is totally unacceptable under any circumstances. I tried taking a picture of my hand..while slowly opening and closing it. Just to be sure. I closed my hand..snapped picture..opened hand..picture taken with an open hand.
The screen is large, colours are vivid and it's easy to use if you are willing to have people pose for at least 3 seconds before capturing a picture.
I wish it were like my C360. I contacted Kodak and they want $125 just to look at the camera..I might as well purchase a new camera, just not from Kodak.
Final answer to this is No, No, No..it's going back first thing tomorrow. I may have to invest in a Sony Cyber-shot..but not before reading the reviews!
