Stunning pictures start with smart features, which is what you'll find in the Kodak EasyShare Z885. The 5X optical zoom lens captures crisp details and gets you closer to your subjects without losing picture quality. Kodak Perfect Touch technology makes your pictures as vivid as the moment you took them, right on the camera. It clears up dark shadows to reveal more smiles, and allows you to print better, brighter pictures. Faster shutter speeds mean you can capture details in low light conditions and fast action situations. The camera automatically selects from ISO 80 to ISO 3200 based on lighting conditions. Minimize

Love this camera

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Easy to use, easy to install, excellent photo quality.

Cons: The easy share software seems a bit tricky but it's still new to me.

The Bottom Line:
Excelent quality, easy for anyone to use, many great features and the photo quality is awesome!

*UPDATE: I just want to add that I am still happy with this camera but there is one definite design flaw. There is no view finder on this camera only the LCD screen. When you are outside in bright light it can be very hard (or nearly impossible) to see the screen to see what you are shooting at. A view finder would defiantly be nice! Though we have only had this issue a couple times as most pictures are not in bright sunlight for us.

I received this camera as a gift for Christmas this year to replace our old (10 years old) Kodak camera. The picture clarity is AMAZING! I took a photo of something on our pool table and it was able to pick up the separate fibers in the table top as well as the tiniest detail of what i was taking a photo of. I didn't realize how out dated our old camera was until I saw these pictures and I was blown away!

This camera was easy to use out of the box. The software was easy to install and use. I like the fact that when I want to transfer photos to my computer I can just plug it in and it automatically transfers the images, I don't have to click, open or press anything!

This camera also has some great features built right in. By pushing down the shutter button the camera will show you want it's focusing on which can be very handy. You can either reduce red eye by the camera double flashing or if you turn off red eye the camera will automatically digital fix red eye in the picture.

There is a generous LCD display you can use to take you photos. You can also store photos in the camera in albums or favorites. It will also take videos with sound.

You can edit photos and crop them with the camera.

There are many other features I have not mentioned here.

I am still figuring out the Kodak easy share software that comes with the camera. I’m sure once I figure it out it will be easy but I am just not used to it. The software will also link and upload your photos to your Kodak Gallery account which is handy for fast uploading to the net.

Over all, this camera is very user friendly with on screen help and many other features that are easy to navigate. Everything on the camera is easy to understand and connecting it to your computer is a breeze!

I gave this an average rating for the battery because I haven't really paid attention to how long the batteries last and I have been using and playing with it which I am sure has been draining the batteries more than normal use would.
