Full Review
I bought this camera in December, 2004. I used to be a 35mm advanced amateure photo enthusiast. After a while, I found myself taking less pictures (becoming lazy?). I got more excited and active regarding photography when I purchased my first digital camera with 3x optical zoom. However, since I love sports shots and shots that required a good zoom range, I decided to go shopping to a decent digital camera with a strong zoom. The reason I chose the Kyocera was simply due to the basic features and cost. I paid about $250 at the time. The features that won me over were the 10x optical zoom, the simplicity of the menu, the speed of the start-up, the speed of the shutter lag and the fact that the flash does not pop-up automatically in dim light.
