Naruto Uzumaki chronicles 2 is a different kind of game if you are only used to ultimate ninja. This is an action RPG where you travel all over from the village of Konoha to the hidden sand village and everywhere in between. This game lets you build up stats and gain new abilities using experience points you gain in battle. The main enemy in this game is the Shirogane clan. The Shirogane clan is a group of ninja that use puppets to attack. There main goal is to revive the Master Puppet, a puppet strong enough to wipe out entire nations. The game is presented in a cell shaded form and is in 3-D with a lot of freedom to move around. You will gain allies that travel with you and you can call them out to use when in battle. Unlike the the first instalment where they only were able to stay out for a short amount of time, they have their own energy bar and chakra bar. They can also have their stats and abilities upgraded. Another difference is that this game is not mission based like the first one, instead you choose your missions from a whole different menu than the story mode. This game also features a versus mode and a survival mode which adds to the replayability of it because the story mode if fairly short having only 10 stages. Their is however a second story mode that can be played featuring Kakashi Hatake as the main player. In this second story mode you fight the Akatsuki members Itachi and Kisame mainly. This is a good game that could have been better but it is a definate improvement over the first.
