Pros: Simply the best camera for the money.
Cons: Not a single "con," and I've scrutinized. Nikon got it right!

Pros: Good images, tough construction, well design & supported
Cons: Confused? Hire me to teach you how to use it!
Bottom Line: If you want something tougher than the Nikon D80 or similar, look no further

Pros: Good Feel, fast reaction and huge buffer. Menus logical Quiet and responsive camera.
Cons: Soft Focus make it difficult to get a nice image
Bottom Line: Test this camera in your hand before buying it. Soft focus problem in not in all D200's but with so many threads and posts why chance it?

Pros: Meters with 1970s lenses
Cons: Digital noise is ugly past ISO400
Bottom Line: I save thousands of dollars by being able to meter an older manual focus 600mm manual focus lens from the 1970s with the D200.

Pros: D2x D.N.A. Strong body build, features. Great for the rough and tumble photo beings.
Cons: Expensive, heavy for some,D80 weakens the D200s case.
Bottom Line: A camera of the times. 2005 sweetheart. 2006 has another sweetheart, the D80.

Pros: Solid but not too heavy, excellent ergonomics, smart design
Cons: The flash sync and remote socket protection caps fall off too easily.
Bottom Line: I have recommended this camera to several other buyers and they all report back that they are well pleased with the D200.
