Pros: value, light metering, VR lens, size, integration, flexibility, auto-focus
Cons: software
Bottom Line: Considering flexibility and cost the Nikon D-80 is more bang for the buck than the Canon 30D.

Pros: Great pictures, easy to use, very little learning curve to get going.
Cons: bulkier than a point and shoot
Bottom Line: This camera is great for those either breaking into professional photography or who just want a little more control in their pictures. Not good for parties.
