Full Review

This Christmas my girls got Gameboys. They have asked for these for about 5 months now.
I usually try to wait for them to at least ask for something a few times before we run out and buy it. Especially if it is a costly item. Usually if they don't ask for something at least 3 times, in a few months you will find it shoved in the bottom of the closet, or shoved in a drawer.

I am a big refunder. Kool-aid had a promotion that if you collected 2500 kool-aid points you could get a color gameboy and a mario deluxe game that came with it. Ok time to start saving for these. I needed 2 of them so the girls won't fight over it.
I saved and saved them, traded for them, drank lots of Kool-aid and finally got 5,000 points together. I ordered 2 of them and hoped they came in by Christmas and low and behold they did. They cost me each $5.00. Yup you read that right, each gameboy was only $5.00 each.

You didn't have choice of the many colors that gameboys comes in. We got 2 teal ones which was fine with me. They both came with the games and batteries!

Now if you go and buy gameboys in the store they will run you from 60.00-70.00. You do have a choice of many colors. The ones you buy in the store also comes with batteries, but no games.

It is now almost 2 weeks past Christmas and we have had to change the batteries once. So needless to say the girls love them.

The games you can buy for gameboys run anywhere from $20.00 to 40.00. This game will keep them occupied for hours. I also love to play it and have fun doing so.

I would recommend this to anyone, not only children. It does make your eyes go buggy after a while but it is fun. The good thing about gameboys is you can take them anywhere with you. The bad thing is they are small, the games are smaller and they are easy to loose.

My kids take them where ever we go and it sure makes the car rides a little more peaceful.
