Nintendo States
"Simple. Intuitive. Easy to use. The Nunchuk controller is designed to work together with the Wii Remote on the Wii video game system. Contoured to fit perfectly in your hand, the Nunchuk adds extra buttons, an analog joystick, and additional motion-sensing control to expand the game play possibilities."

My Experience
My husband got the Wii gaming system for his birthday and had a list of "add-ons" that he needed in addition to what was included in the Wii package. He said he needed an extra nunchuk so that we could play some of the games together. Extra nunchuk? You mean Nintendo included only one nunchuk? They couldn't include two remotes and two nunchuks?!
We mostly use the nunchuks to play Wii Boxing and Mario Strikers Charged. The nunchuk plugs into the Wii remote quite easily. To remove the nunchuk from the Wii remote, there are two buttons on the side that need to be pressed for the nunchuk to release from the remote. The cord that connects the nunchuks to the Wii remote has a good amount of length. It measure approximately 36 inches long. I find the cord to be somewhat pesky when I'm playing Wii Boxing because the cord gets in the way or gets tangled as I throw punches. Unlike the Wii remote, the nunchuk does not require batteries as it connects to the remote and is receives its power through the remote.
The nunchuk is lightweight and easy to hold. The shape of the nunchuk allows for my hand to easy conform to it and I find it quite easy to grip. The nunchuk adds on two additional buttons (Z and C) that can be accessed with the pointer finger like a trigger. It also has a toggle mushroom that can be controlled with the thumb. The nunchuk has a motion sensor that allows for the Wii to register how the nunchuk is moved through space. This allows for a unique twist to gaming, especially in games such as Wii Boxing.
I just wish that Nintendo had included two nunchuks into their Wii package. However, my husband was set on getting the add-on so that we could play some of the games together.
Overall Thoughts
The Nintendo Nunchuk for the Wii is a fun addition to the Wii remote for some fun times on the Wii.
Thanks for reading.
