Pros: way ahead of the competition - this is practically a Digital SLR!
Cons: you must buy more memory. More bulky than some cool Nikons/ Canons
Bottom Line: Excellent Digital SLR - fully manual to fully automatic modes, 100/200/400/800 ASA options, 10x zoom, user friendly interface, TIFF/ JPEG file formats, AA batteries

Pros: Great image quality, great zoom, great battery life, and great connectivity.
Cons: Comes with rather small memory card, no rechargeable batteries, and no memory card reader.
Bottom Line: Great digital camera with super zoom. If it came with a larger memory card, rechargable batteries, and a recharhger you would have all that you need for great digital pictures.
