I have 5 of these machine that I have in my employees homes. Every one of them is in disrepair. The machines I replaced were 15 years old. I have had these less than 4 years. A big deal seems to be the opening procedure when having to do something inside of the machine. There is on the side of the unit a button to open it. You would think that by simply pushing the button the unit would open. The only problem is that you have to open the face prior to pushing the button. If you do not open the front flap first there are 2 hook ears (which are grossly under engineered) that will break. When these are broke the paper feed is not held tightly against the transition roller. End result. The ink is not transferred to the paper. Panasonic will not admit it has engineered a bad product. I can send the unit back for repair - at a cost of $135.00 per unit. I only paid $120 per unit when I bought them new. I will never buy any Panasonic equipment again.
