This is an extremely well-made, commercial duty fax unit which should last a long time in any busy office. It features Panasonic's all-in-one cartridge system incorporating all printing supplies and even the drum, in one easy to change unit....which is rated to give 10,000 pages. A full cartridge is packaged with each new facsimile Panasonic UF-885 it ships,which is a $250.- value!

Panasonic's UF-885 utilizes their exclusive "check and call" function which sends a facsimile message to the selling or servicing dealership when the machine needs service (a rarity) or prior to it needing a new cartridge! This is kinda like "ON-Star" for you fax machine.

Additionally, this unit holds a full 500 sheet ream of paper, and you can add additional paper drawers for even more. Also, generous memory, speed-dial locations, and easy menu-driven programming make this an easy unit to live with. They've even included an innovative "page collation" mode, which if active, will print your inbound fax receptions in the correct order, rather than reversed as most machines do !

All in all, there are cheaper faxes out there, but if you factor in the included cartridge, the long life expectancy, low operating cost, and ease of use....the UF-885 is sure to please.
