Okay, so this was an upgrade for me. I still have this clock radio since...I don't know when. It's a pretty uneventful purchase. It's not like I *want* to wake up using an alarm of some sort. I'd rather wake up naturally.

Overview
A nice bubble design. But when there's a bit of sun or strange lighting hitting the face of the radio, I can't see it to well. I wouldn't depend on it to see the time unless it's really dark - I have a watch for that. Mine is black with a red LED display, but overall, it's the same model with the same functions.

Use
Yikes! How do you set this thing? You'll need the instruction manual or you won't really figure it out. In order to set your alarms, you have to press a number of button at the same time. Actually, three buttons. One to set which alarm, the other to access setting the time, and the last to move the time up or down faster/slower. The latter two buttons are on the sides. You might have to do some finger olympics or yoga before setting this thing up.

Also, don't forget to set your volume control, which sometimes can be set off inadvertently so you don't even hear your alarm in the morning. This only happened to me twice. The radio tuning is precise and actually gives a nice sound, especially in FM.

There are two alarms - one is buzzer and the other is for a radio. Guess which one I use?

Conclusion
Not much thought into this. If you want cheap, this is it. Otherwise, go to those other ones that give you more features, like plugging in your iPod or having a CD player in them. Those might be an upgrade, but you still have to wake up in the morning to face the world.
