Pros: Best sounding of the current portable cd player lineup
Cons: missing features of previous models, cheaply built
Bottom Line: This years best but if you happen upon last years model, grab it and run for the counter. Otherwise settle for this and hope it lasts.

Pros: Size,eq,looks, plays cd/r/rw, battery life
Cons: flimsy, could brake easily,included headphones
Bottom Line: If you want a good compact cd player that you can jog with get this just make sure you don't drop it.

Pros: Above-average anti-skip performance and sound quality, very long battery life
Cons: No line-out jack, uses proprietary rechargeable batteries inside the unit, flimsy
Bottom Line: At $100, the Panasonic SL-CT580 hits the sweet spot in terms of value - but the very thin design is extremely fragile.
