I purchased this amplifier almost a year ago. I needed a little more power that what my alpine mrpm350 could offer. SO I was able to pick this up locally, used but in very good condition. This was the first time I had ever used a Phoenix Gold product. My first impression of this little beauty is that it looks stunning. The polished metal case with the Plexiglas windows on its edges and 3 led design was like nothing I had seen before. So elegant but still able to get down to business. This amplifier is one of the most multi purpose amplifiers on the market today. It can be ran at almost any configuration, 2 channel or Mono bridged configuration.

If you need to run it 4 ohm stereo, no problem. If you need to run it 2 ohm stereo, no problem. And of course it will even run 4 ohm mono. But where things start to get interesting is that this is one of the few 2 channel amplifiers that it is stable at 2 ohm mono. That is rare.

It is very flexible due to its design. It has a regulated power supply. Which means that even at lower impedances, it is able to dissipate the heat created by running at such low impedances, By limiting the output power and running its internal fan.

This amplifier also includes the option of adding what referred to as a LPL44, which essentially is a remote bass control knob which can be used to attenuate the output of any speaker attached to this amplifier. The only catch is that this function only works when this amplifiers Low pass cross over is activated. This little option comes in handy when using it to control a subwoofer. It allows you to adjust the subwoofers output from one song to the next, or even to turn the volume right down if you don't want your neighbours to know that you have a stereo system. The ti600.2 also has the ability to pass the rca preout from this amp directly to another amp without having to run another set from the Head unit.

I love this amp and it is worth every cent I paid for it!
