Pros: simple but deep, high replay value, decent AI
Cons: story isn't deep, graphics, spotty sound
Bottom Line: Many will write this game off as a kid's game. Those people are foolish.

Pros: Over 350 pokemon, great story and gameplay, high replay value
Cons: not many, but maybe the sounds of the game could use some tweaking
Bottom Line: This game is simply great for many reasons, while consisting of not too many flaws. A great game with a high replay value.

Pros: fun, good variety of pokemon
Cons: can be irritating and repetitive
Bottom Line: A very good game! It's not the most complex game around, but it's still a lot of fun.

Pros: Lots of new stuff, battle frontier, real double battles.
Cons: Not linkable with G/S/C versions of pokemon. Certain legendaries are not catchable in-game. Costs 35$
Bottom Line: Definitly buy this game, it will give you hours upon hours of entertainment just like Ruby and Sapphire did, plus a whole bunch of new stuff to look forward to.

Pros: A Very Deep Game, Meaty Quest With Lots to Do
Cons: Still Costs $34.99 Even Though It Was Released a Few Years Ago
Bottom Line: Pokemon Emerald is a Worth Owning Even If You've Already Romped Through Ruby/Sapphire.

Pros: Cute pokemon,fun and deep gameplay great replay value
Cons: There is not much to complain about
Bottom Line: I don't see why people don't like these pokemon games, because they are very fun and enjoyable. Anyone can have fun with this game if they just try the game.

Pros: Gameplay, Dialogue, never-ending game
Cons: Sometimes marginal sound, lame graphics.
Bottom Line: I recommend this game to all fans of Pokemon and people who will be taking a long car trip.

Pros: great game play battles are improved
Cons: can get very repetitive
Bottom Line: my final recommendation for this game is to defiantly get this it really is different compared to the others. You will have a plenty of fun catching them all
