Author's Review
I was excited to buy the Actius MP30 because I wanted a small, fast laptop. I figured with the 1.6 Transmeta processor, it would be faster than my bigger 1.4 Centrino laptop.

I purchased my laptop from Newegg and started to use it. After just several minutes of use, the fan started to come on and rarely went off, making the laptop very noisy. Also, when I loaded some of my programs I use at work, I noticed quite a difference in the speed of the laptop. It was really slow. I also realized the laptop didn't come with a built-in memory card reader which I had just assumed was standard in all new laptops, so I didn't read all the specs of the laptop.

After using it for a few weeks, I just didn't like the noise, the slowness and the keyboard was difficult to type on. I eBayed it off and now I am awaiting a Dell 700m.
