Pros: Pocketable, easily operated, good photos, unlimited movies with sound, uses SD-card, NiMH rechargable AA's.
Cons: Slow USB, slow cycle time, weak PC software, can't save exposure modes, 2GB max SDcard.
Bottom Line: Buy this camera. It's good enough for the price and has enough features that even an experienced user will appreciate it as a pocket sized, point and shoot.

Pros: Nice finish, great button layout and easy to use
Cons: Bad picture quality
Bottom Line: Stay away from the S700 like the plauge. When you shop for a camera look at the picture quality on a computer screen, not just the lcd on the camera
